Create a delightful display within your summer garden with Pulmonaria Blue Ensign. Clusters of beautiful violet-blue flowers begin to bloom in March through to May attracting bees into the garden however, the flowers are only one feature of this hardy perennial. Below the flowers is a dense carpet of semi-evergreen foliage. These green leaves are mottled with a silvery-white hue that provides a beautiful backdrop against the stunning trumpet like flowers. Ideal for brightening up borders or potting containers they reach a mature height of 40cm and can be cut to be used as part of a cut flower display for within the home. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it the Award of Garden Merit due to its striking colour and amazing resistance to pests and disease. First grade loose root plants supplied.
