Product Description
Sambucus racemosa Sutherland Gold is mainly grown for its vivid foliage which is bright yellow and beautifully feathered. Attractive conical heads of creamy white flowers appear in May-June followed by vivid red Elderberry fruit in September. Holds the Royal Horticultural Societys Award of Garden Merit for its reliable performance, stability of colour and form, and good resistance to pests and diseases. A lovely low maintenance deciduous shrub that needs little pruning once established.
