Sunflower Yellow Pygmy grows the most impressive blooms! With large centres and smaller than normal petals, the effect this flower creates is immense. Although the centres are large on this bloom, the plant itself is quite a bit smaller than your average sunflower. This makes them perfect for smaller gardens or displays, and can even be grown in containers. Perfect as cut flowers and is loved by pollinators.

Growing at a glance…
Start seeds indoors from March to April, or If you prefer, directly outside from April to May. Sow thinly atop the soil. When seedlings are 5-7cm tall, thin into individual pots. Replant thinned plants. Protect from snails and slugs while young by using copper tape or a fine grit around the base of the plant. Gradually harden them off before planting out once the danger of frost has passed.
