Growing at a glance…
Sow directly outside from April to June around 1cm deep and 45 cm between rows. Best results can be seen generally from a May sowing. Will grow wonderfully in well-dug soil that hasn't been manured. As each seedling appears, gradually thin them apart to about 20cm. Ensure that the soil is kept moist until seedlings are established.
