Product Description

Two to three orange-scarlet blooms per stem. Van Tubergens is ideal for rockeries and pots, as well as at the front of a border. As great naturalisers, you will see these tulips multiplying year after year, making them excellent value for money.for anyone who is looking to bring a burst of spring colour to their pots or borders. Don't forget that tulips like to be planted late in October and November with the colder weather (it helps wipe out disease, too.) Plant bulbs pointy side up, 12cmdeep and water well. Growing at a glance…

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
