Product Description
Tulip Tarda is a great choice for rockeries and borders, and it is compact enough to suit pots. It grows to a height of just 12cm, with up to five blooms per bulbs in March/April, for a beautiful splash ofspring colour. Flowers are a mix of bright and cheery yellow and soft, pure white edges. The colour is a real eye-catcher, particularly when planted in large quantities or with other, contrasting dwarf botanical Tulips. It works great as spring ground cover. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil in a sunny location for best results. Holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit

Growing at a glance…
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
