Product Description
Narcissus ‘Erlicheer’ is a richly scented, double-flowered daffodil known for its soft, layered blooms and early seasonal presence. Clusters of creamy-white petals with a buttery yellow centre create a full, textured double form. Flowering from March into early April, each stem carries multiple blooms, adding fragrance to the early spring garden while reaching around 30-35 cm in height.
Thriving in moist but well-drained soil, ‘Erlicheer’ adapts to a wide range of soil types and performs reliably in full sun or partial shade. It is clump-forming and upright in habit, producing strap-like, grey-green foliage that supports its multi-flowered stems, returning consistently and establishing quickly over successive seasons.
Its soft colouring and multi-headed form lend themselves to more relaxed, layered planting; combine with Tulipa in dusky pinks or soft whites for a tonal scheme, or intersperse with Muscari and low-growing Primula to add contrast in both colour and structure. Positioned near paths or entrances, its fragrance becomes part of the planting experience, adding an extra dimension to mixed spring borders.

Growing at a glance…
Daffodils (or narcissi) are both easy to grow and incredibly reliable. Like many bulbs, it takes very little time to plant them. Remove any weeds in the area you'd like to plant your bulbs and dig at the soil to aerate it. Fork in some organic matter to improve the drainage and soil structure. Daffodils prefer sunny spots and well-drained soil, so keep this in mind when planting. Plant each bulb 2-3 times the bulbs height and place it with the shoot facing upwards. Space them twice their width apart. Cover with soil and water if the ground is dry.
