Product Description

Currant Versailles is a popular, hardy and unusual fruit plant that provides tasty currants that are sweeter than the traditional red currants usually seen. Beautiful pale-yellow flowers bloom and that are surrounded by lobed leaves. The currants from Rubus rubrum Versailles can be harvested from April to May and will provide a brilliant yield, year on year. A great choice for planting in the garden border or within patio containers for gardens with less space. We recommend planting in well-drained, fertile soil in sunny areas where they will thrive. This self-fertile variety will reach an eventual mature height of 1.5m. Two-year-old, three shoots+ plants supplied.
