Hamamelis Witch Hazel Collection
Chinese Witch Hazel Collection
OUT OF STOCK
This exotic collection of three Chinese witch Hazel is the perfect way to get some life and colour back into your winter garden. These deciduous, winter flowering shrubs produce clusters of sweetly scented, crinkled flowers in a range of fiery shades, bursting into life like mini firework displays from December to March. In autumn, the bright green linear foliage turns to warm shades of yellow, orange and red, which complement the flowers beautifully. The flowering twigs create unusual indoor displays, we'd recommend planting in tall vases for a sophisticated look. Hamamelis is happiest outdoors, where it will thrive in a sunny border. We supply grafted (not seed grown) plants, which gives a dramatic improvement in quality/amount of flowers compared to seed grown plants, which turn out larger but with terrible flower performance. Includes one each of Jelena (coppery orange), Mollis (yellow) and Magic Fire (coral red/orange). Height 3m. Root ball plants supplied.
