Unlike other varieties of Cyclamen, Cyclamen Coum will give your patio pots or containers a burst of charm in early spring. The beautiful shell-shaped flowers are pale to dark magenta and sit atop a bed of silver marbled foliage. We recommend creating a woodland look in your garden, by planting Cyclamen at the base of a deciduous tree such as the Betula Jacquemontii (Birch Tree) with evergreen ferns and other shade-tolerant companions. While the Cyclamen is in dormancy, the fronds of ferns will create interest. 13-15cm bulbs supplied. Flowers February to April. Height 8-12cm.

Soil Type

Well drained soil, moist soil.

Cyclamen corms can be planted at approx 5cm deep and 15cm apart, in fertile well drained soil. They prefer to be located in areas that are fairly sheltered.
They are perfect for naturalising if left undisturbed. They often take time to establish themselves in new environments and may not necessarily flower in the first year. Apply a leaf mulch annually to help protect from frost.
