Product Description
A popular choice and a staple feature of our ground cover collections the Sun Rose, also known as Rock Rose is a hardy low-growing perennial with a shrub like habit, great for rockeries or filling the gaps at the front of the border. The brilliant red saucer-shaped flowers appear in May to June with each flower only blooming for one day so it's best to remove fading buds and cut back after the first round of flowering to encourage a second growth. Will thrive in a sunny spot of the garden and prefers well-drained soil. Height 15cm. UK-grown 5cm module plants supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Perfect for any flower bed, border or container this season. Water when their soil feels dry to touch, particularly in warm bouts of weather in the early morning or late evening once the sun has set. To plant them in the border, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire root ball. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. To plant them within a wall, find an opening and pack it halfway with soil. Then, take the module and pop it in the hole, making sure it's sturdy by packing soil around it. Water well.
