Product Description
Acer palmatum Orange Dream (Japanese Maple) produces ever-changing foliage which brings interest throughout the year. In spring, dainty red flowers are interspersed amongst lime-yellow foliage which has fiery margins of coral red all the way around each leaf. In summer, these red shades seem to fade away, leaving behind a clean and vivid bright green. In orange, the deeper coloured edges are back, but instead of lime-yellow like in spring, the leaves are a golden, sandier colour. A slow growing but stunning Japanese Maple, ideal for small gardens or large containers. Water well until established to ensure a strong, healthy plant. Winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit 2012. Eventual height 3m in 10 years. 20-25cm plants supplied in 12cm pots.
