Growing at a glance…
Plant in dappled or partially shaded areas in the garden. Can be grown in containers, but should be spaced out well so that they don't fall victim to powdery mildew. This Aster is supplied as a loose root. To grow loose roots, firstly soak them in water for 1-2 hours. If planting out into its final position, dig a hole that holds the root and cover with soil. If it has a noticeable crown, leave this just slightly poking through the soil. Water well through the season and deadhead regularly to keep them looking fresh!
