A fashionable garden perennial that is a favourite for the cottage garden border. Astrantia are clump-forming herbaceous perennials with palmately lobed basal leaves and branched, erect, wiry stems bearing compact umbels of tiny flowers surrounded by a rosette of showy bracts. Deadhead after first flush to encourge a second flowering. The collection consists of 1 of each Astrantia Verona, Roma, Venice and Florence. Astrantia are also known as Hatties Pincushion. Height 50-60cm. Supplied as first grade roots.
