A winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, Bergenia 'Bressingham White' produces clusters of bell-shaped pastel pink flowers that turn whiter as they mature, bringing a sense of elegance to your spring display. Also known as 'Elephant's Ears' due to their distinctive giant leaves, this evergreen perennial is an RHS plant for pollinators, and also holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit. It will invite butterflies and bees into the garden with ease. A very hardy and tolerant clump-forming flower, they are low maintenance and able to be grown in a range of soils in both sunny and slightly shaded areas of the garden. Plant in groups as ground cover for the front of garden borders or patio containers for a more compact appearance as they reach a mature height of 45cm. 9cm pot plant supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Grow somewhere sunny or in partial shade, ensuring the soil is well-drained. Mulch annually once they’ve finished flowering to promote healthy leaf growth. Divide overgrown clumps in spring or autumn every couple of years to avoid them becoming congested. Deadhead once flowered.
