Product Description
Both high yielding and highly popular, Broad Bean Masterpiece Green is a must-grow crop for many gardeners. Will thrive in most soil conditions. Perfect for freezing if you're not ready to eat the harvest straight away. Provides a fresh flavour that you simply can't get from a store-bought variety. Sow indoors from February to March, or sow outdoors either from March to May or October to November for an early crop the following year.

Growing at a glance…
Sow indoors from February to March in pots in a cold greenhouse or in March-May/October-November outdoors. Sow outdoors as soon as there's no risk of frost as the ground is more pliable. Sow in double rows that are around 7cm deep and 23cm apart. Keep free of weeds and pull out any existing ones before planting. Provide support on exposed sites prior to the plants reaching 30cm. Harvest the beans when the pods large and fat.
