A premium and magnificent deciduous shrub that is grown for the combination of sweetly scented ball-shaped flowers and attractive green foliage. Flowering in summer through to early autumn, it will produce an abundance of small creamy-white flowers which lend it the name of the Button bush or Honey bush. Eventual height of 1.5-2m tall, with a spread of 1.5m. Plant on arrival in fertile, well drained soil and they will thrive in a south or west facing location. A majestic display when the flowers burst onto the scene in summer, perfect for acting as a modern display or impact shrub within the border. Cephalanthus occidentails is a great choice for attracting butterflies and bees into the garden. 40cm plants supplied in a 3 litre pot.

Cephalanthus is perfect for growing in a south or west facing location in full sun, where they will thrive and add interest and colour from spring to autumn. Ideal for planting on arrival into fertile and well drained, Loam or Sandy soil in a location that is sheltered.
Very hardy by its natural habit, this deciduous shrub looks fantastic as a border impact shrub. Prune in early spring to maintain a compact habit and shape, and apply some mulch after prunning.
