Coreopsis Sunburst is a beautiful and showy 'tickseed' with bright yellow flowers marked with a deep red flame at its heart. Easy to grow in any well drained soil in containers or the border, this compact busy perennial that will put on a spectacular show of flowers on tall 70-80cm stems from June to September. As well as being an excellent cut flower, Tickseed Sunburst is loved by butterflies and bees so are a great addition to the garden. If aphids are a problem for you, simply plant near Petunias, garlic, chives or onions. Flower from June through to September. Supplied as UK-grown 5cm module plants.

Growing at a glance…
Water freely during the first year, but from second year onwards, they will get on with less watering. Grow in any moderately fertile and well drained soil. Plant in a sunny part of the garden, or in partial shade. Dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the entire module. If planting in pots, fill a large pot halfway with potting soil and then make several holes that can hold the modules. Do this until the top of the soil from the module is just below the top of the pot. Fill around the modules with soil and firm them down gently. Water well once planted.
