Product Description

Narcissus ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ is a double daffodil producing multiple white flowers with rich and creamy orange-yellow segments at the centre, creating densely layered blooms with a full, textured appearance.

Flowering from mid to late spring, ‘Sir Winston Churchill’ typically reaches around 40 cm in height and performs best in full sun or light shade. It adapts well to a wide range of well-drained soils, forming reliable clumps that return year after year and suit both naturalistic drifts and structured border planting.

We recommend combining this Narcissus with Tulips in deep purple, soft pink or white forms, while Muscari provides low, grounding colour beneath the upright stems. Later companions such as Nepeta and ornamental grasses extend seasonal continuity through foliage movement and softer texture once flowering finishes.

Growing at a glance…

Daffodils (or narcissi) are both easy to grow and incredibly reliable. Like many bulbs, it takes very little time to plant them. Remove any weeds in the area you'd like to plant your bulbs and dig at the soil to aerate it. Fork in some organic matter to improve the drainage and soil structure. Daffodils prefer sunny spots and well-drained soil, so keep this in mind when planting. Plant each bulb 2-3 times the bulbs height and place it with the shoot facing upwards. Space them twice their width apart. Cover with soil and water if the ground is dry.
