Product Description

In any border, Dahlia ‘Karma Lagoon’ stands out for its velvety purple-pink blooms and poised, decorative form. The fully double flowers sit high on long, sturdy stems, offering depth of colour and a refined, camellia-like shape that adds instant presence to summer plantings.

Growing to around a metre tall with a similar spread, ‘Karma Lagoon’ brings height and structure without dominating its neighbours. A generous performer, it flowers from midsummer until the first frosts, producing a steady succession of richly toned blooms that hold their colour well.

This decorative Dahlia thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil, responding well to good growing conditions. The stems are naturally robust, though light support can help maintain its upright poise as the season progresses.

‘Karma Lagoon’ pairs beautifully with dusky Salvias or airy Cosmos, its jewel-like tones weaving contrast and depth through mixed plantings. Its straight, strong stems and saturated colour also make it a standout choice for cutting, bringing richness and elegance to indoor arrangements.

Growing at a glance…

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
