Dahlia Waltzing Mathilda is a superb choice for your summer displays. A winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit and Plants for Pollinators. Produces sunset shades on each bloom, featuring hues of pink, red, and orange. This variety is more of a single-flowering shape, but still packs a punch in the border or in a bouquet.

Growing at a glance…
Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
