Growing at a glance…
Sow indoors in early Spring (Mar-Apr), giving them about 8 weeks before the last frost date. Fill some small pots or a seed tray with seed sowing compost and scatter a few seeds over the soil surface. Lightly cover them with a thin layer of compost and water gently. Ensure you keep the soil moist during germination. Plant out when large enough to handle (10cm tall) in a sunny or partial shaded position.
