Product Description

Mahonia media 'Charity' produces cheerful buttery yellow cup-shaped flowers that sit along lengthy lances that are almost highlighted by the dense dark evergreen foliage. A showy upright and hardy shrub, the flowers almost seem to glow in the hazy winter sun as they bloom from December to April. The flowers are also a great source of nectar for bees, that are followed by plump blue-black berries that are much-loved by birds. Sure to create a wonderful focal point within the garden, this fantastic shrub is sweetly scented and can be grown in patio containers or borders. The jovial flowers can also be cut and used within floral displays to be appreciated within the home. We recommend planting in shaded areas where they will thrive and reach a height of 1.5m, although they can also tolerate sunny locations. 20-25cm plant supplied in a 9cm pot.
