Furnish Your Space

Adding some chairs to a space can easily transform it into a comfy haven. If you’re not keen on spending a lot on some new furniture, you could always turn to Facebook marketplace or Gumtree to find some hidden gems.

Add a few pillows, some throws to curl up under, and maybe even a table or two to rest your drink of choice on to finish the look.

Protect Yourself from the Elements

Let’s face it – we're in the UK, and the weather is an unpredictable mistress (especially in autumn!). If you’re after a space that can be used whatever the weather, then the addition of a waterproof covering placed over your seating area would be a great choice.

There’s the classic pergola of course, but if you’re looking to do this on a budget, then a party shade or retractable awning will do the trick.
