Easter Egg Chocolate Nest Recipe

Nothing says Easter like an abundance of chocolate! Although this Easter Egg Chocolate Nest recipe has nothing growable in the ingredients, we're getting in the festive Easter spirit. Here's how to make the easiest, most chocolatey chocolate mini egg nests this Easter.
Serves: 12
Prep Time: 25 mins
Chill Time: 2 hours
Ingredients:
- 85g shredded wheat
- 200g milk chocolate
- 2 bags of mini eggs
- 12 cupcake cases
Method:
- Chop up your chocolate into small pieces and melt in a bowl over a pan filled with hot water. You could also put the bowl in the microwave if you're wanting to make less mess!
- Break up the shredded wheat in a bowl and pour the melted chocolate on top, stirring to combine and coat all the wheat.
- Spoon the mixture into your cupcake cases and pop three mini eggs on top of each one. Put them in the fridge for up to 2 hours so they set and enjoy!
Tasty Tips
Add a personal touch to your nests by adding some home-grown fruit on top instead of mini eggs! Would go great with chopped up strawberries, raspberries or even cranberries.
