Our Predictions for Spring 2024

Ready for spring 2024?

Our new autumn range is here, ready to help you grow the spring garden of your dreams. But what will you grow?

Garden trends change every year, and we love to stay up to date! Here are just a few garden trends we expect to see in spring next year.

Colour Coordinated

Purples with pinks, yellows with oranges, whites with green. Although it's not a new concept, it never goes out of style. Or even a monochrome planting scheme, where you grow several shades of the same colour for a cohesive display.

Tangerine Is In, Too!

Tangerine-coloured flowers are always having their moment right now. Combine tulips like Beauty of Apeldoorn and hyacinths like Gypsy Queen to recreate this cohesive colourful display.

Daffodils for Days

When you think daffodils, we're sure you think of a typical yellow trumpet variety. However, daffodils can provide far more interest than you may think. Varieties like Jonquilla that produce more than one flowers per stem, or double daffodils that create fluffy blooms throughout spring are just a few examples of what the humble daffodil is hiding up its sleeve.

Early Risers

They're classic for a reason! Early-flowering bulbs like crocussnowdrops, and muscari are a must for welcoming your garden into spring. Whether you grow one type in large groups, or mix and match your favourites, these early blooms are always a must for spring beds and containers.

Mix & Match

Why choose just one spring bloom when you can grow them all?! Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, muscari, crocus, fritillaria, the lot. Creating a mix-and-match display has always been a trend, but it's taking off once again - and we're betting we see it next spring too.
