The Kaleidoscope Ginnel Garden

Kaleidoscope Ginnel Garden by Petrus, RHS Tatton Flower Show 2024

At the upcoming RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, Petrus, one of our valued charity partners, will be showcasing their Kaleidoscope Ginnel Garden. This enchanting garden was brought to life with the collaborative efforts of service users, volunteers, and staff from Petrus, Falinge Park High School, and the charity Aspire to Inspire.

Visitors can anticipate being captivated by the interplay of sunlight through textured glass, a vibrant array of plants, an assortment of garden art, and inviting benches designed to foster new connections and friendships. Each community group involved will have a dedicated section in the ginnel that mirrors their unique community and the bonds of friendship they have formed.

The garden sponsorship has been supported by J Parkers, along with contributions from the RHS, M&Y Maintenance and Construction, Ecogee, and the Rochdale Rotary Club.

Petrus & J Parkers Sponsored Walk, June 2024

On Friday, June 14th, J Parkers collaborated with Petrus for their annual sponsored walk to support Petrus's participation in the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. The RHS Tatton Park Flower Show holds significance for Petrus, as their PIER community allotment service users work together to create award-winning show gardens, showcasing the achievements of vulnerable individuals when given empowerment, trust, and belief.

The sponsored walk covered a 13.5-mile route from Rochdale to J Parker's headquarters in Old Trafford. The event successfully raised over £4,500, contributing to Petrus's preparations for the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show in 2024.
