Native to Brazil, the the purple shamrock produces small pinkish or white colored blooms are an attractive addition to the rich purple leaves, which are the star of the show. Also known as the Love Plant, Oxalis traingularis' pretty foliage and dainty flowers make it a good choice for containers or borders. Flowering April to May. Top size bulbs supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Water Oxalis bulbs freely during growing season, but ensure not to waterlog the soil as this will damage the bulb. Plant in any fertile, well-drained soil. Many Oxalis varieties spread rapidly and take up plenty of space as ground cover. If you prefer to keep them contained, plant them in pots along the patio. They are frost-tender, so cover with mulch in the late autumn to protect from cold conditions.
