Product Description
Philodendron ‘Imperial Red’ is a vibrant cultivar bred from Philodendron erubescens, but unlike its sibling ‘Imperial Green’, it retains its red pigmentation as the foliage transitions from deep burgundy to glossy dark green.
‘Imperial Red’ has become a favourite among houseplant enthusiasts due to its relatively easy care, manageable size and robust form, alongside its striking colour. With a potential height and spread of around a metre, ‘Imperial Red’ is an excellent addition to floor containers or tabletops in homes and offices, adding undeniable visual interest without demanding too much space or attention.
All plants will be delivered in nursery pots, decorative pots not included.

Growing at a glance…
Water lightly, allowing the soil to dry out a bit between watering. If the top two inches of soil is dry, it's time to water! Grows best in bright, indirect light, too much sun will scorch the leaves. Prefers warm indoor temperatures between 18–28°C and normal to high household humidity. Apply a weak liquid fertilizer monthly during the spring and summer growing seasons.
