Product Description

Phlox paniculata ‘David’ is a white-flowered, upright summer perennial with particularly strong vertical form. Dense domed clusters of pure white blooms rise above sturdy stems, bringing clarity and structure to the midsummer border. Lightly scented flowers contrast with narrow, dark green foliage, creating a crisp, well-defined display at peak flowering.

A bushy, clump-forming herbaceous perennial, ‘David’ typically reaches a metre in height with a spread of roughly 60 cm. Flowering from mid to late summer, it performs best in fertile, moisture-retentive soil in full sun or light dappled shade, where good air circulation supports clean, sustained flowering.

It integrates well into mixed perennial borders, combining naturally with Achillea, Echinacea, Salvia and Geranium, where its upright habit contrasts looser forms. The white flowers also sit effectively alongside deeper-toned Phlox paniculata cultivars, extending contrast and continuity through the planting scheme.
