Pilea Depressa

Product Description

Small in stature but full of character, Pilea depressa is a tender evergreen perennial that forms a dense mass of miniature, rounded green leaves along slender creeping stems. Its glossy, slightly succulent foliage develops a soft sheen in the light, while its naturally spreading habit quickly creates a fresh, lush display.

As the stems lengthen, they spill attractively over the sides of the pot, making Pilea depressa particularly effective on shelves, in hanging displays or trailing from containers. It can also be grown in terrariums, where its low, mat-forming growth provides useful coverage around taller plants.
