Product Description
Add elegance to your summer display with this beautiful Floribunda Rose. Rose Margaret Merril will produce glossy green matte foliage and clusters of pure white flowers from June to September. As a Floribunda variety, this showstopping Rose also has the added benefit of being highly fragrant. Growing to a height of 75-100cm and spread of 60cm, it is perfect for planting in large containers or the border, wherever the fragrance can be enjoyed. Two year old Rose bushes supplied. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. It’s important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.

Growing at a glance…
Roses should be planted firmly, to ensure that wind will not disrupt the roots. Apply a balanced fertiliser every 3-4 weeks in the spring/summer, and apply a mulch in the winter for protection. Can be pruned back to remove any dead wood or growth. It is best to plant roses in winter or early spring, provided there is little frost. To prepare your bare rose roots, soak them in a bucket of water for an hour to 24 hours (longer in spring). Then, dig a hole large enough to house the roots when fully outspread. Distribute the roots evenly around the hole and put in a little bit of fine soil to which has been added a small amount of bonemeal. Fill in with the rest of the soil over the roots and tread in firmly. The depth of planting roses will vary between 10-20cm, or as deep as they were in their pots.
