Product Description

Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna' is a mound-forming perennial that produces fragrant foliage and purple (almost black) spires of blooms throughout summer. However, the tips of these spires start as a dark pink, gradually turning a deep violet blue as it reaches the base of the plant. A great addition for any border display, where it can attract pollinators in abundance. Holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, and Plant for Pollinators.

Growing at a glance…

Must be watered regularly and keep in areas with plenty of sun. Deadhead as and when necessary, after flowers are fully established. Plant straight away upon arrival in full sun or in partial shade. They prefer soil that is humus rich, light and well drained.
