Product Description

Perpetual Spinach is a perfect pick for the beginner, as it never runs to seed in its first season. This crop is highly hardy, making it perfect for growing in autumn and even winter. However, it's always a good idea to protect them from harsh frosts with horticultural fleece. Sow indoors from Mar-Apr/Sep-Oct or indoors from Mar-May/Sep-Oct.

Growing at a glance…

Sow seeds inside in pots or outdoors, directly where they are to grow. They prefer cool soil. Sow 6-12 seeds 30cm apart and 1/2 inch deep, in rows that are spaced 10-20cm apart, thinning when they reach heights of 5cm. Ensure your soil isn't particularly acidic, as they are sensitive to high levels of acidity. Harvest every other crop, giving the rest more room to grow.
