Flaming Flag is an enchanting Triumph Tulip which produces eye-catching cup-shaped blooms in pure white blushed lilac, with feathered streaks of rich purple reaching upwards from the base of each petal. Flowering from April to May, each flower stands on a strong grey-green stem reaching a mature height of 40-50cm decorated with matching sword-shaped foliage around. This stylish Tulip will stand out when planted against single coloured Tulips in containers, when planted along pathways or along the front of spring border.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
