Tulip Recreado
OUT OF STOCK
This dark purple variety is a fairly new addition to our range of Single Late Tulips. The colour is particularly attractive planted beside a darker variety such as Queen of Night, as they will complement each other and bring out their depth of colour. It is also beautiful mixed with a variety of colours, particularly other single late varieties. These flowers are lovely for cut flower displays. This sturdy Tulip provides a spectacle from mid-April throughout May and grows 50-70cm. We supply large, 11/12cm bulbs for best results and recommend planting around 15cm deep in a sunny or partially shaded location in well-drained fertile soil.

Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil. Tulips delight during their growth in a sunny location.
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.
