Wisteria Black Dragon is a gorgeous variety with fragrant violet blue double flowers, with white and yellow margins. It is a vigorous climber and will benefit from pruning twice a year to maintain a good shape and encourage flowering performance. Wisteria looks particularly effective when trained to grow through a large tree or over a bare wall or pergola making it a superb feature plant. Flowers May-July. 30-50cm plant supplied in a 2 litre pot.

Wisteria plants will need adequate room for roots to develop, and you should provide support and tie young plants to it until they are well established. Plant in well-drained, fertile soil, in either full sun or partial shade. Suitable for planting in a large container. On arrival, remove the plant from the pot and plant it in a hole the same depth as the container, with extra room on both sides for the roots to develop/expand.
