Also known as the Pink Japanese Wisteria, Wisteria sinensis 'Rosea' is an impressive and fragrant trailing shrub that produces clusters upon clusters of pretty pink petals in late and and early summer. Each of its blooms are highly attractive to wild life such as bees and butterflies, and will provide you with a most incredible display throughout its flowering seasons. A notable winnter of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, and you can see why! Perfect for growing against walls, trellises , or fences for a most amazing display all year round. Can grow to spectacular heights of 9 metres and 4-8 metres wide when fully matured.

Growing at a glance…

To get the best results from your Wisteria, you should get it in the ground anywhere between October and April. Place in well-drained, moist soil and in a full sun position. As Wisterias are vigorous climbing plants, you should provide some sort of support (wires or trellis) against the area you'd like it to grow.
