Glorious golden yellow funnel-shaped flowers blend into green at the floral chamber and curve down into a succulent tube-like stem. A matching yellow spadix sits inside the enveloping spathes. The Calla Lily prefers well-drained soil in a full or half sun location.Calla Lilies are dramatic additions to outdoor gardens with their distinctive blossoms, but also make excellent cut flowers. Plant your Zantedeschia tubers in compost in spring months. Ensure all risk of frost has passed before planting in your garden. Keep well-watered throughout its growing season, especially if the soil feels dry to touch. Dig a hole at least twice the bulbs depth and space each bulb around 30-40cm apart. This is due to their wide leaves and need more space to grow than a typical bulb.
