This exciting and stylish variety boasts large flared heads with intricately feathered edges. Petals twist and turn artistically, each one a vibrant combination of light apricot pink splashed with vivid yellow. Each flower head sits on a sturdy stem, surrounded by lance-shaped foliage. Parrot Lady not only looks good in pots or the garden border, they are perfect for cut flower displays to be enjoyed within the home. Great when planted alone but look incredible when planted with contrasting colours which really generates a real talking point within the garden. Grow well in direct or partial sunlight and when planted in well-drained soil. Flowers April to May. Height 40cm. 11/12cm bulbs supplied.

Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bonemeal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil. Tulips delight during their growth in a sunny location.
After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time. Tulips should not be grown in the same soil for several years, so replace with fresh soil every other year.
