Muscari Azureum is an easy to grow bulbous perennial, whose flower spikes can reach heights of 15cm. Accompanied by narrow, strap-like green leaves and sturdy stems, this Muscari bears densely packed spikes of light powder puff blue pea-like flowers, each delicately edged white. An additional benefit is that all Muscari have a lovely fragrance. The more you plant, the more fragrance you get! Flowering April. 6cm+ bulbs supplied.

Soil Type

Fertile, well drained soil

Plant 10cm deep in fertile, well drained soil and try to ensure that they will have plenty of access to some sun.
Muscari are fully hardy to frost and are an extremely low maintenance option for spring displays. They can be planted in borders, rockeries or are very effective when left to naturalise/multiply. If you wish to move clumps, then this can be done in summer when dormant.
