Also known as Elephant's Ears due to their distinctive giant leaves, Bergenia cordifolia ‘Purpurea' is a beautiful evergreen perennial that is a favourite of butterflies and bees. Purpurea has clusters of magenta-pink flowers that stand above deep green foliage which turn a purplish colour within the winter. These wonderful flowers will add character to the spring garden, flowering from March to April and reaching a mature height of 45cm, they are a great choice for patio containers for gardeners with less space. They will also create interest when used within cut-flower displays. 9cm pot plant supplied.
