With its flamboyant red heads edged with yellow, Canna Lucifer is the embodiment of tropical paradise. Surrounded by broad green foliage with wavy edges, the Canna provides excellent focal points in summer bedding schemes. The Canna is known for being extremely easy to grow and Lucifer is no exception. Originating from South East Asia, this exotic plant prefers moist well-drained soil and full sun, although partial sun is fine. Flowers July to October. Height 60cm. Top quality Rhizomes supplied.

Growing at a glance…
Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. To plant bulbs, ensure they're planted 7-10cm deep. They are often best started in pots and then transplanted in borders or beds towards the end of May. The best placement for them is to plant them in a sunny position, preferably out of the wind.
