This curious Crocosmia boasts crimson splashed bright orange funnel-shaped flowers in double rows along the top of slightly arching racemes. A showy bulbous perennial with sword-shaped mid-green leaves, the Crocosmia Emily McKenzie is ideal for planting in bold swathes through the border, and makes an impact. Remarkably easy to grow and hardy, the Crocosmia is a popular plant. Its tall upright habit makes it the perfect partner for many flowering grasses. Flowers June to August. Height 70cm. 7cm+ bulbs supplied.

Crocosmia are best planted in fertile, well drained soil in the spring. They can tolerate full sun or partial shade, and best planted in groups. Ideal for borders or patio containers.
Take some precaution in the winter to help protect the bulbs (for example apply a mulch annually) and water freely to assist in the growth.
