Each colourful bloom is a trumpet or funnel shape and produces a wonderfully sweet scent when they flower in the summer months.This Freesia single mix looks spectacular planted en masse in the summer border where the mixture of single flowers will provide a carpet of colour. Flowers from June to August and grows to an average height of 45cm (sizes may vary).

Growing at a glance…
Freesia bulbs should be planted in April in fertile and well-drained soil. Find an area of the garden that is sunny or partially sheltered and dig a hole thatÆs 5cm deep. Pop in the soil and space each bulb its own width apart from the other. Cover with soil and water. Make sure you also maintain a regular watering regime in hot weather, at least every day or when the soil feels dry to touch.
