Ready for the RHS Tatton Flower Show? Plan Your Trip with Us!

RHS Tatton Flower Show is this week, and what a lovely week to have it! With the stifling few days out of the way, the cooler (but still warm) weather will provide a delightful setting for all things flowers.

The Tatton Flower Show is a long-running summer tradition. It’s the perfect place for gardeners to gather, absorbing everything you could possibly see and do over just a few days. If you’re new to Tatton, or you’re simply excited and can’t wait any longer, here are just a few of the many things you can expect to see at this year’s show.

Garden Displays Aplenty

As always, the garden displays at this year’s Tatton show aim to inspire all budding and experienced gardeners alike. Visit the BBC Radio 2 & the One Show’s Sow or take a gander at the Greener Front Gardens display, just to name a few!

All these gardens will be judged by professionals, so keep an eye out for the award winners and their gardens as you explore them leisurely. Take a peek at the gardens here

Live Talks

Get top tips from the experts, take part in workshops, or even watch chefs prepare unbelievable dishes live! There’s a host of exciting things to learn and observe at Tatton this year. Browse the whole line-up here if you’re after inspiration for your trip.

Fun for the Whole Family

Tatton is incredibly child-friendly, with a whole host of activities for them to get stuck in! From collecting seeds to taking part in workshops, your little one won’t have time to mutter those two dreaded words (‘I’m bored’ is enough to send a shiver down any parent’s spine).

There are lots for adults too! When we say the whole family, we certainly mean it. Whether it’s for children, older kids, or even adults, Tatton has it all in spades (excuse the pun).

The Floral Forest

Located at the Plant Village (which is also where you can find us! But more on that later...), the Floral Forest is rife with flower stalls and growers – the perfect place to gather expert advice on your gardening woes or to simply learn something new.

The Forest is also an Instagram dream, providing the perfect backdrop to take plenty of pics while you’re browsing everything under the marquee.

Take Some Time to Relax

If the hustle and bustle has worn you thin, then why not take the time to perch and experience uplifting live music? From rock and roll, western swing, or even ukulele tunes, there’s plenty of choice for everyone!

This is also where you’ll find every opportunity to do some retail therapy. From small boutiques to plants and flowers, you can find everything a gardener such as yourself will need for the upcoming planting season.

Food for the Masses

No Tatton Flower Show would be complete without an assortment of dining experiences, tailored to your every craving. If you prefer a sit-down meal, there’s the D’Vine restaurant. If you’re after something more al fresco, there are plenty of food courts, bars, and ice cream vans for you to explore!

Even the pickiest of eaters are catered for, ensuring your day is nothing less than perfect.
