Delicate ivory flowers and their subtle pink edges make Tulip ‘Infinity’ a refined highlight of spring borders. Flowering from April through May, its cup‑shaped blooms are carried on strong, upright stems above fresh green foliage. The colour progression from ivory to a soft pink blush adds depth through its season of interest and gives a luminous presence that complements many schemes.
Reaching around 50 cm in height with a similar spread, ‘Infinity’ develops a neat, upright habit ideal for borders, beds and containers. Thriving in well‑drained chalk, loam or sandy soils, it favours a sunny, sheltered position that supports sturdy stems and reliable flowering.
For layered spring colour and extended display, you can plant Muscaris in front to provide low‑growing blue contrast as the Tulips emerge, or combine with Narcissi for overlapping bloom times and textural variety. Later‑emerging perennials such as Hemerocallis or Salvias help bridge the transition as the tulip blooms fade, while Violas offer additional spring colour at the base without competing for light.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
