Parrot Tulip Bulbs

Parrot tulips are an incredibly popular breed, cultivated from various double late species and triumph tulips. The parrot tulip is so-called because of its exotic, fringed petals and unique colours, almost resembling a tropical parrot. As they flower much later in the season, parrot tulips prefer warm and sunny conditions.

There’s a whole range of popular varieties that sit under the Parrot Tulip umbrella. Tulip White Parrot is a great example – it produces gorgeous, ruffled pure white flowers. Easy to partner with seasonal plants, especially if the rest of your display is quite vibrant. Another top choice would be Tulip Flaming Parrot, which would fill your gardens with their bicoloured bright yellow and red flowers.
