Muscari (Grape Hyacinth) Bulbs
Muscari, also known as Grape Hyacinths, are jewels of the spring garden and have been popular with our customers for decades. The majority of muscari varieties will produce clusters of small flowers (akin to bunches of grapes) in varying shades of blue, but there are some which flower in white and light pink.
Muscari flower prolifically and are a reliable choice for the early-spring garden. We recommend planting Muscari en masse, either on their own, or with complementary spring bulbs such as Daffodils and Crocus. They are also a fantastic plant for attracting pollinators to the garden, in particular bees, and it is not uncommon to see bunches of Muscari seemingly buzzing!
We have a wide range of varieties available - the most popular (and most common) is Muscari Armeniacum. Muscari are very easy to grow - they prefer a well draining site, but work in the majority of soils.
