Greigii & Kaufmanniana Tulip Bulbs

Kaufmanniana tulips and Greigii tulips are exceptional breeds under the general Species tulip umbrella. They appear earlier in spring than most species, which makes them perfect for bridging gaps between seasons.  
 
Kaufmanniana and Greigii tulips come in a wide range of colours and shapes. Many tulip Kaufmanniana and tulip Greigii blooms appear in vibrant bicolours, which helps to point them out in a border. Tulip Red Riding Hood, for example, is a Greigii tulip that produces single-shaped scarlet red tulips on a bed or dark mottled green foliage. Tulip Stresa is a classic example of Kaufmanniana varieties, with striking bicoloured flowers in shades of lemon yellow and scarlet red.
